HYDERABAD: The Children's Film Society of India organised film screenings for visually-challenged students as part of the children's film festival. Films were screened at three special schools for visually-challenged students from November 17 to 19.The films are specially designed with a detailed narrative of the screenplay, enabling the children to imagine the film by listening to the narrative. On Saturday, Yeh Hain Chakkad Bakkad Bombay Boo and Amulyam were screened. The National Green Corps is coordinating with CFSI for screening of the films.Shujauddin, a class IX student of Devnar School for the Blind said he and his friends enjoyed listening to all films played for them. "We keep track of Telugu and Bollywood films as well." Pointing to the sound of television from inside a room, Shujauddin identified the voices as dialogues from the Telugu movie Arya 2 and said he could name the voice of each of the actors including the music director. "Sunny Deol is my favourite hero and AR Rahman is my favourite music director," said the student. Md Ghouse Pasha, programme officer, AP chapter of National Green Corps said this is the seventh time a film festival is being held here for visuallychallenged students. The other two schools where films were screened are GHS Girls' School for the Blind and GHS Boys' School for the Blind.
