King Khan knows how to do things in style. The music launch of his much awaited Diwali release, 'Happy New Year' was a grand event in Mumbai which was telecast live on Youtube and Twitter. Shah Rukh Khan ensured that fans across the world could watch it live on their computer screens.
The event saw performances by singers like Neeti Mohan, Sukhwinder Singh, Kanika and Dr Zeus along with the Shillong Choir who sang a beautiful rendition of 'Manwa Laage'. The lead cast of HNY- Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah performed on stage to the popular song 'Indiawale'.
The music of the film has been composed by Vishal and Shekhar and lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The film's music launch also had singer Sunidhi Chauhan in attendance.
Directed by Farah Khan, the film is a multi starrer with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah playing the lead roles. A heist drama, the film will have its lead cast taking part in a dance competition.
