New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to hear a curative petition on gay rights in an open court. The petition was filed by gay rights activists demanding decriminalising gay sex.
The plea challenged the Supreme Court verdict which held gay sex illegal.
The apex court in December 2013 had reversed a landmark Delhi High Court judgement decriminalising gay sex.
