Rs 4.68-crore infra upgrade for schools

CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa inaugurated the infrastructure developed through the School Education department in Virudhunagar, through video-conferencing, here on Friday.According to a press release, the infrastructures include class rooms, lab facilities, toilet facilities, drinking water facilities, compound wall and office buildings at Reserveline Government High School in Sivakasi, SS Government High School in Rajapalayam, Government Higher Secondary Schools in Nallamanaikanpatti, and Sivalingapuram, Government High School in P Ramachandrapuram, Government High School in Panaiyur, and  Assistant Elementary Educational Office in Kariyapatti. The infrastructure in all these locations were built at cost of `4.68 crore, the release said.
