London: Princess Diana's younger brother Charles Spencer has reportedly got married for the third time. The Earl, 47, tied the knot with 38-year-old Canadian philanthropist and former model, Karen Gordon, at Althorp, the Spencer family seat in Northamptonshire on Saturday, 'The Daily Telegraph' reported.
The couple got married in a private civil ceremony followed by a blessing, attended by family and close friends, within the grounds of Althorp where Princess Diana is buried. Earl Spencer had announced his engagement to Gordon
in February.
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton did not attend the wedding due to his work commitments at the Royal Air Force Valley in Anglesey, where he works as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, the report said.
Earl Spencer attended the Royal couple's wedding at West Minster Abbey earlier this year. A royal aide said that Prince Harry also missed the service due to "a long-standing private engagement".
The couple are believed to be planning on spending most of their time in America, where Gordon has a house in the exclusive area of Pacific Palisades in California.
The Earl's third marriage is the latest chapter in his colourful private life, which has seen his previous two marriages end in divorce. There was also a broken engagement last year.
