Pillai to be discharged on November 8

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress (B) leader and former minister R Balakrishna Pillai, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital here will be discharged on Tuesday.  The medical board which met here on Monday decided to discharge him and advised him to see the  doctor on alternative days. Pillai, who was jailed for one year in the Idamalayar case, was granted remission by the State Government on the Kerala Formation Day. Pillai will stay here till the treatment is over.
