New Delhi: After the super success of his movie Race, Saif Ali Khan is playing it extra safe to drive his career to the top.
The actor has reportedly turned down a lucrative deal, worth a whopping amount of Rs 30 crore, offered to him by a leading corporate house.
Sources close to Saif revealed that he refused the offer because he feels it’s important to focus on quality projects rather than sign lucrative projects where there is no bound script.
They also added that Saif believes he should stick to being true to his craft and choose to do only good roles.
“He knows big offers will keep pouring in but he should concentrate on good quality projects,” the source said.
So unlike other actors who announce their monetary deals to all and sundry, Saif is focusing only on good, meaty roles.
No wonder, he boasts of a body of good work that includes movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Omkara, Being Cyrus, Parineeta, Salaam Namaste, Kal Ho Na Ho, Hum Tum, or the recently released Race.
Not just that, Saif has a couple of big Bollywood projects lined up for the future too.
With movies like Tashan and Farhan Akhtar’s Voice from the Sky in the pipeline, fans definitely don’t mind Saif playing it safe.
