Nirmala Lilly, the lieutenant governor (marketing) of District 82,Kochi has been awarded the ‘excellence in marketing’ award by the California-based Toastmasters International. Michael Notaro, International President, said “Nirmala Lilly has successfully led her team to meet and exceed the membership and club goals. She truly exemplifies the Toastmasters International brand and vision.”
Daniel Rex, executive director, said, “Membership growth is key in making our organisation reach its mission of making effective communication a worldwide reality.”
A happy Nirmala said, “It is a big international honour for which I owe to all the leaders of District 82 for their unstinted support.”
Nirmala is the general manager of the Flora Airport Hotel, and Secretary, Kerala Management Association. The award will be presented on August 16,during the Toastmasters International Convention at Orlando, Florida.
