Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called up Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Pathankot attack.

Sources told CNN-IBN that Sharif has instructed his NSA Nasir Janjua and his advisor Sartaj Aziz to coordinate with India and act on our demands.

The sources said that Sharif requested Modi to continue on their current roadmap. Pakistan government don't want any delay or rescheduling of the Foreign Secretary level talks, the sources added.

Modi on his part shared India's concerns and angst over the deadly terror attacks.

Meanwhile, six terrorists involved in the attack at the Pathankot airbase have been neutralised but combing operations are still underway to ensure that the area is safe.

While addressing a press conference, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said that investigation is underway to ascertain how the terrorists conducted the attack. "I see some gaps (security related) that will be cleared after the investigation. There are indications that some of equipment used by terrorists were made in Pakistan. BSF has already been asked to give details of areas from where terrorists could have entered," he asserted.
