Mumbai: One of the accused in Mumbai gangrape who claimed to minor will on Thursday undergo a Bone Ossification Test to determine his actual age. The results are likely to come out in the next two days. But Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh has already gone on record to say that all five accused are adults.
All five accused had also confessed to be involved in molesting a girl, sexually assaulting a rag picker and not paying a commercial sex worker at the same spot inside Shakti Mills, according to the police.
A key witness who was sitting with three of the accused when they were called by another accused when the 23-year-old photojournalist and her male colleague was assaulted had also been identified.
The forensic teams have also collected DNA samples of all five accused. For the first time, a Voice Layered Analysis was also being done by forensic experts from Gujarat to analyse the phone conversations of the accused.
A team from the National Commission of Women will do a fact-finding inquiry in Mumbai on Thursday.
The 23-year-old photojournalist was gangraped by five men at Shakti Mills compound in Lower Parel. She was accompanied by her male colleague who was gagged and bound while she was raped.
