KOCHI: The Admission Supervisory Committee headed by Justice P A Mohammed has issued notices to the managements of all self-financing dental colleges in the state asking them to explain details of admission conducted to BDS course for the academic year 2011-12.The managements have to submit the details within one week. They have to submit details such as how the admission was conducted, fees exacted and whether receipts were issued to fees paid or not.The committee issued the notice on the basis of a petition submitted by the Kerala Dental College Students and Parents Action Committee. The action committee, in the petition, alleged that many college managements did not reveal their prospectus and fees structure, exacted fees for five years in a single instalment and did not pay any receipt for the fees accepted. The college managements have to give explanation to these allegations.
