Man stabbed to death

BANGALORE: A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in front of Sambhram College at M S Palya in Vidyaranyapura police station limits on Saturday evening.The victim has been identified as Santosh, a resident of Siluvepura in Soladevanahalli. He was working at a private firm located at Richmond Circle.According to the police, Santosh was heading towards his home on a bike when the miscreants attacked him. As Santosh was going in front of the college, a Maruti 800 car waylaid his bike. About 4-5 miscreants got down from the car and they dragged him to the side of the road, where a heated argument took place between the victim and the miscreants. Later, the miscreants stabbed him with knives in his abdomen and thighs and fled from the scene.“Some onlookers passed on the matter to the police. Though he was shifted to a private hospital, he died of multiple stab injuries. The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained,” the police added. The body has been shifted to M S Ramaiah Hospital mortuary.
