Man held for stabbing teenager to death

ATTINGAL: A 30-year-old man was arrested by Varkala police for stabbing a teenager to death on Thursday. Satheesh alias Motta, a resident of Kaithapuzha near Ilakamon,  was the person arrested.According to police, Satheesh had stabbed Jafar of Kottiyam when a group led by the latter tried to attack him.Jafar and his group were hired by Noushad to take revenge on Satheesh who  had attacked Noushad a couple of days back. When the team led by Jafar entered the house of Satheesh, Satheesh took out a knife and stabbed Jaffar. The arrested Satheesh is an accused in a murder case registered in 2007. He was remanded to prison.
