Mumbai: According to media reports, former Bollywood actress has been detained in Kenya with husband Vijay Goswami at the Port Police Station in Mombasa. The couple has been charged with drug trafficking.
The couple, taken into custody on Sunday last week, is being interrogated by the Kenya police. Both Mamta and Vijay were arrested following an investigation by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Mombasa Police department.
Mamata, who earned huge popularity for his Bollywood projects such as 'Aashiq Awara', 'Waqt Hamara Hai', 'Krantiveer', Karan Arjun, Baaz, and many others.
