Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday took time off his hectic schedule to spend some time at the school attended by his daughter Divija Fadnavis.
Fadnavis drove to the event called 'Daddy's Day Out' organised by South Mumbai's Cathedral School to mingle with other parents and their children.
"The chief minister went to the school event like any other parent would. He was there for less than an hour," an official from the Chief Minister's Office said.
Five-year-old Divija Fadnavis, who was a kindergarten student in Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir at Nagpur, is now a student of the Cathedral School after her mother, who worked with a private bank there, shifted to Mumbai, to be with Fadnavis who moved to the Maharashtra Chief Minister's official residence called 'Varsha'.
