Toronto: The two young sons of Amit Kumar, the alleged kingpin of the illegal kidney transplant racket operating out of Gurgaon, are virtually cut off from the world as they are believed to be holed up in their sprawling house in Brampton, popularly known as 'Mini India' of Canada.
The snow-laden home located on Pali Drive in Brampton, which is under high-tech surveillance, bore a deserted look, and the 4 and 5-year-old India-born boys, believed to be the sons of Kumar, could be seen peeking through the window coverings.
Both the kids, who have not been attending school for the past one week, looked scared as this PTI correspondent saw them peek through the windows of their house.
Authorities in the boys' school declined to comment on the issue in view of the Canadian privacy law.
The glass security door at the entrance of the house was found locked and a bundle of newspapers and advertising fliers outside indicated that no one has stepped in or out of the house in the last couple of days.
