HYDERABAD: After the twoeyed policy of Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu on the core Telangana issue, the Telangana Telugu Desm Forum (TTDF) is now adopting a “two-faced” approach to the unity of T forces.TTDF leaders are demanding that leaders of all the parties should unite to achieve Telangana.TTDF leaders are even prepared to fight on a common symbol if by-elections are held after all the MLAs resubmit their resignations. At the same time, the TTDF leaders are not sparing in their attack on opponents, thus endangering the unity of T-forces which they are seeking. The TTDF has appealed to political JAC chairman M Kodandaram to convene a round-table to unite the leaders. And, without waiting for his response, accused Kodandaram of being an agent of TRS.The forum also appealed to TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao to see that all leaders came on a common platform. And, at the same time, it held him responsible for the delay in a forming a separate state.“Perhaps the TRS chief is planning to become chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh after the 2014 elections. That is why he extended the deadline for state’s bifurcation till the next elections,” TTDF leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu alleged here on Thursday.Besides, the TRS chief colluded with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and that was why Rao was not speaking anything on the CBI raids or on Jagan’ s cor rupt money, Narasimhulu alleged.Narasimhulu wanted Rao not to contest elections till T-state was achieved.Ridiculing Rao’s demand for resignations, Narasimhulu said that resignations would not lead to by-elections.“Let us all decide not to contest elections till Telangana state is formed,” Narasimhulu demanded. The TTDF is also trying to corner the Telangana Congress leaders. In an unusual manner TTDF leaders have met Congress leader and minister K Jana Reddy recently and requested him to ensure resubmission of resignations. If Telangana Congress leaders do not resign, it will give handle to the TTDF to attack them. The game-plan of TTDF appears to be that while seemingly making a common cause with Telangana forces, it will shatter unity by attacking the very forces whose cooperation it seeks. If a united struggle does not happen, the TTDF will lay the blame at the door of others saying all its best efforts have come to naught. In a candid admission, a TTDF leader said they had requested TJAC, TRS and T-Congress leaders to wage joint struggle and were, at the same time, hurling personal abuses on them.
