KCBC All-Kerala Professional Drama Fest

KOCHI: An All-Kerala Professional Drama Competition will be held from September 18 to 30 by Catholic Bishops Counsel’s Social Interactive Press Commission at POC auditorium, Ernakulam. The competition is organised with the view to appreciate and encourage those commissions and artists who promote moral values and Biblical messages through the medium of drama during various religious festivals in Kerala.The organising committee said that a cash award, certificate and trophy will be awarded to the team which gets the first prize in the competition with ‘A’ grade.  All the other dramas which gets an ‘A’ grade will be promoted through media advertisement. The best actor, actress, scriptwriter, director, music-director and co-actors and actresses who perform well will also be awarded.In order to bring in more participants, the organising committee will give travel allowance. Those who would like to take part in the fest should register their name with a fee of Rs 100 and three DTP copies of the script before August 10 in the Press Commission Office.
