Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday arrested four Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in connection with the Sopore Mobile tower attack on May 24.
The 1,058 towers, out of the 2,903 towers of various telecom companies installed across Kashmir Valley, had been shut down due to attacks and threats by terrorists to landlords in whose premises the equipment were installed, according to sources.
Sopore was the worst-hit area where all but two of the 177 towers were shut down in the wake of a series of attacks by terrorists in which two persons died and three were injured.
