Srinagar: A massive gunbattle is underway to flush out terrorists holed up near Keran along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Two Indian army jawans have been injured in the gunfight which has been on for over 15 hours.
The attack comes days after three incidents of ceasefire violation and heavy firing by Pakistan in Poonch, Keran and Kasba regions.
India and Pakistan have been at loggerheads with each other over ceasefire violations along the border. While India had recently registered its disappointment and filed a complaint with Pakistan, the neighbours too have accused the army of violating ceasefire.
