MYSORE: Pointing out that 80 per cent of the companies commencing operations in the state are opening only in and around Bangalore and Mangalore, Union Minister for Corporate Affairs Dr M Veerappa Moily called for focus on investment in other regions. Urging company secretaries to conduct programmes to educate people about investment, Moily said that the Centre in this regard has decided to organise the Investors’ Conference on February 6, 2012.Speaking after inaugurating an office of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India here on Saturday, the minister detailed: “I am going to prepare a road-map on investment after the Parliament session and it should reach all of Indian villages. This apart, publicity measures are also being worked.”
