I will try to finish in top 10 at Indian Grand Prix: Adrian Sutil
Force India started off with some superb performances this year but all of a sudden slumped badly post British Grand Prix.

New Delhi: Though India's Formula One team, Sahara Force India - went pointless last year at Indian Grand Prix, but its driver Adrian Sutil on Tuesday said they will try hard to finish in top 10 in front of their home crowd.

"On paper it looks very tough. We had some bad races this year but will try hard to cheer the home crowd. But we will work together, we came here prepared as normal. Hopefully we have successful Friday and Saturday. We need to do our job right", Sutil said.

After change in tyre this season, Force India's performance hasn't been so impressive as they have only scored three points since the Silverstone race in June. Force India did extremely well in the first-half of the season and were a strong contender for the fifth position in the championship but have slipped to the sixth with 62 points. Sauber are 17 points adrift of Force India, having amassed 38 of their 45 points in the last four races.

Force India started off with some superb performances this year but all of a sudden slumped badly post British Grand Prix.

On being asked about the car they have, Sutil said: "So far we have a good car but it is not like Red Bull or Ferrari. If we will have a engine like them we can also perform in seconds. Hope it will be more advanced car next year. But I am happy with the car I have.

"Force India is working on the engine also. It also depends on the resources and the staff a team has. But we are giving our best in every grand prix."

This will be Sutil's third visit to India and he is excited too.

"Though, I treat every race similar but I love to drive in India. I love the Indian crowd and its culture. We have got a superb support from the Indian fans in the last two seasons and I am sure that we will get it too this time," Sutil said.

On India not hosting the formula one race in 2014.

"That's a bad news of course. But I would love to see it back in India again in 2015. Hope to see it again" the German added.
