Hudson plane: US aviation releases cockpit recordings
The aircraft had made the emergent landing at the Hudson river on Jan 15.

The US Federal Aviation Administration has released cockpit recordings from US Airways Flight 1549.

The aircraft had made the landing after hitting a flock of birds as both its engines lost power. There were no casualties.

The recordings reveal aviation officials suggested nearby airports to the pilot for making an emergency landing.

They even asked the pilot if he could steer the airbus back to LaGuardia airport. But the pilot immediately warned that it would be impossible and that the plane could end up in the Hudson.

What's your reaction?
