International Medical Sciences Academy, an international body with fellows and members from various countries including several Nobel laureates, is conferring A C Shanmugam, Founder Chancellor, Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, University, Chairman of ACS Group and Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions, with an Honorary Fellowship.
A special convocation for the same will be held at the Gulf Medical University Campus, Ajman United Arab Emirates, on October 7. Ajman ruler H H Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi will confer Fellowship to A C Shanmugam, which he is being awarded in recognition of his service to the medical, dental and allied sciences fields by establishing institutions in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The institutions are also recognised for the free medical and dental treatments that is being offered to poor patients.
