Hockey: India eves drub Taipei 7-0
Captain Jyoti Sunita Kullu scored three goals to lead India to a 7-0 win over Chinese Taipei.

Doha: Captain Jyoti Sunita Kullu scored three goals to lead India to a 7-0 win over Chinese Taipei in a pool match of women's hockey in the 15th Asian Games here Sunday.

India lead 1-0 at half time, but in the second half they pumped in six more to completely dominate the weak Taipei side at the Al-Rayyan Hockey Field.

Jyoti opened the scoring off a penalty corner in the 18th minute, and returned to strike field goals in the 39th and 58th minutes of the second half.

Surinder Kaur scored two goals, in the 45th and 66th minutes, while Subhadra Pradhan (38th) and Saba Anjum (49th) consolidated the tally. All were field goals.
