Here come Postcards from Soha

Mumbai: Soha Ali Khan has taken on her first English language Bollywood role in a movie about relationships gone wrong, a report said on Wednesday.

Soha told the Mumbai Mirror newspaper that her new movie, Postcards, weaves together three separate stories.

"But mainly, it's about a couple whose relationship is on the verge of ending," she said.

"It's an interesting and intelligent story. It was fun to shoot for it, although the theme is rather serious."

The movie also stars veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, Victor Banerjee and Roopa Ganguly.

In recent years, several filmmakers have experimented successfully with mixing Hindi and English, although English language Bollywood movies have rarely done well since they don't have an audience beyond big Indian cities and South Asians living overseas.

Soha's last movie - Rang de Basanti - was about a group of carefree youngsters who try to put an end to the deep-rooted corruption in society.
