BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday directed KG Nagalakshmi Bai, the petitioner seeking action against Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda for allegedly constructing a building violating norms, to furnish the negatives of the photographs in the case. Hearing the case, the division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Vikramajit Sen and Justice AS Bopanna gave this direction to the petitioner.Nagalakshmi Bai in her petition stated that Sadananda Gowda was allotted 24.84 guntas of land at Nelagunte village and he had approached the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA)  seeking permission to amalgamate the site adjacent to his site and his request was rejected. It was communicated to the respondent on September 24, 2009. However, she alleged that Gowda  went ahead to construct a shopping complex in the residential layout against the BDA rules. She submitted that the CM violated the BDA norms according to which residential sites cannot have more than two floors and constructed a five floor building. She further submitted that amalgamation of sites is not permitted even if the property belongs to father and son or wife and husband unless the owner has two sites in his name. The court heard the contentions and adjourned the matter for further hearing.
