Government to develop 310 tourist getaways

DHENKANAL: The State Government has decided to develop 310 tourist getaways in the State and funds for the purpose will be released soon. This was announced by Tourism and Culture Minister Prafulla Samal at the Dhenkanal Mahotsav on Tuesday.The Minister conferred the Kapilas Samman on Hrudananda Mishra for his contribution in providing health care facilities to the poor. This apart, Mahima Sahitya Samman was awarded to Sankarsan Jena who has been working for the promotion of Mahima Dharma, while Rajendra Pati got Mahima Natya Samman, Nityananda Mohapatra Mahima Sangeet Samman, Amiya Chand Mahima Krida Samman, Prabirkumar Mohanty Mahima Charukala Samman and Odissi dancer Sonali Singh  got Mahima Nrutya Samman.
