BANGALORE: Chandra Layout police have arrested the three youth on charges of raping and robbing a woman near the Ganesha temple at Nayandahalli Junction on Sunday night.The accused have been identified as Raghavendra, a bar bender, Nagesh and Madhu, all 20-years-old and residents of Nayandahalli. Nagesh worked at a refrigerator repair shop while Madhu worked in an apparel shop.The accused does not have a criminal background and this seems to be their first crime. The police have recovered a gold chain that was robbed of the victim.According to the police, a 38yearold woman, a garment employee, who had gone to K M Doddi to visit her husband and children was allegedly gangraped and robbed by the three when she was returning home on Sunday night after getting off a bus near Nayandahalli junction.
