Former Army Chief General VK Singh to join BJP on March 1
General Singh was last seen sharing stage with anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare, who is now supporting the Trinamool Congress.

New Delhi: Former Army Chief General VK Singh is set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party officially on March 1. General Singh will contest the 2014 elections on a BJP ticket.

General Singh is the latest entrant into the BJP after former home secretary RK Singh, former Mumbai police commissioner Satyapal Singh and former RAW chief Sanjeev Tripathi.

General Singh was last seen sharing stage with anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare, who is now campaigning for the Trinamool Congress in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
