BANGALORE: An artificial flower vendor, who was walking on a street, sustained pellet injury on his arm. Though the pellet was shot using an airgun, nobody including the victim, knows from where and who shot it. The incident was reported in Kanakanagar Main Road in Hebbal police station limits, on Friday morning.
The injured person has been identified as Gurunath (23), a native of Anekal in Bangalore rural district. According to police, Gurunath was hit with a pellet on his left arm at Kanakanagar 14th A cross and started bleeding. Some passersby took him to a nearby hospital and informed the matter to the police. "It is very clear that it is not an intentional attack and it is suspected that somebody might have fired it targeting animal or bird or it might have hit Gurunath accidentally," the police said.
