NELLORE: Welfare of fishermen is neglected after the demise of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy said here on Wednesday. Addressing a roadside gathering at Ramatheerdham in Kovur Assembly constituency, he said while earning crores of rupees from the sea, the government is not concerned about improving the living standards of fishermen or fishing infrastructure. Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed voters as a part of the election campaign for his party candidate N Prasanna Kumar Reddy at Mudivarthipalem, Ramatheerdham, Vidavaluru and other areas. He said he has confident of Prasanna Kumar’s victory. “The only question is by what majority,” he said.Prasanna Kumar Reddy said he developed Kovur by spending Rs 300 cr during his tenure as MLA. He urged the people to vote for him.
