BHUBANESWAR: The fifth and final-phase panchayat polls will be held on Sunday in 24 districts in which over 31 lakh voters are eligible to exercise their franchise. Elections will be held for 111 zilla parishad (ZP) zones, 808 posts of sarpanch and panchayat samiti member. According to the revised figures issued by the State Election Commission (SEC), 74.61 per cent of 46.47 lakh voters cast their votes in the fourth-phase polls on Friday. Subarnapur district recorded the highest _ 81 per cent _ polling while Ganjam witnessed the lowest at 68 per cent. The SEC has ordered re-polling in 41 wards which went to polls on Friday. Re-polling in four wards of Sanshidha gram panchayat of Aul block in Kendrapara district will be held on Sunday. Re-polling will be held on February 20 in 13 wards of Niali and Banki blocks in Cuttack district, 18 wards of Bari and Jajpur blocks of Jajpur district, one ward in Nandapur block of Koraput district and five wards in Odagaon block of Nayagarh district.
