New Delhi: In their 60th Formula One season, Ferrari has been off the blocks first. Their target is to win the Formula One drivers' world title back from McLaren in 2009.

So Ferrari's new car, F60, will have its work cut out for the 2009 season.

Keeping in with the rules the 2009 with a long front wing and a short, high rear one, side-pod mounted mirrors, the brand new Ferarri F60 rolled out of Maranello.

The Indian fans, too, will have something to cheer about with the TATA logo on the side branding.

Unlike the 2008 season, the Prancing Horse would want to finish at the top especially Kimi Raikkonen

"I think we are very confident that the car should be very good and we will see it in the next few weeks, how good it is against the others. For sure we will try to win both championships and we go and start testing and see how it is and go from there," said Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen.

Ferrari will enter the 2009 season as the top constructor after beating McLaren by 21 points in 2008 for the Constructors' Championship.

But Felipe Massa, who lost the drivers' crown to Lewis Hamilton by a single point last season, is determined to get it right this time around.

"I feel stronger, I feel more experienced, especially after last year, how the championship came from the middle to the end of the season, how difficult it was. I think you learn and that makes me ready and even more experienced for this year," said Massa.

Ferrari's brand new car is the first of a series of launches as F1's teams prepare their machines for the new season, which starts in Melbourne on March 29.

Massa also took the new F60 car out for its first test drive around Ferrari's Maranello headquarters. The car also boasts of a brand new suspension and transmission system among other things.

The interior lay-out too has been changed radically and after taking the car through it's paces around the test track Massa said that driving it was a completely new experience compared to last season's model.
