Fans going gaga over Shivraj Kumar's 'Shiva'
The first day opening of 'Shiva' was fantastic. According to estimate, it collected Rs 3 crores, on the first day.

As expected the first day opening for 'Shiva' was fantastic. All the 900 shows at 225 theatres were full. The fans lapped up the action, dialogues and excellent screen presence of Shivaraj Kumar. Throughout the film Shivaraj Kumar is cool and pleasant, while in the action scenes he looks strong and solid.

There was jubilation in front of all the theatres in Karnataka. The special idol of Lord Shiva, which was prepared for the film by art director Ishwari Kumar was brought down at the Santosh theatre complex.

One of the fan, Raju of Kataripalya in Kolar tonsured his head for the success of 'Shiva', 101 coconuts were broken, 360 garlands were placed over Lord shiva Idol. In Belgau, Davanagere, Hubli, Bijapur, Bangalore, Tumkur and Hassan, there was a procession and fans were in a elated mood. 'Shiva' team was also honoured at Navrang theatre on August, 16.

Nivedita Shivaraj Kumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and a few other members of Shivaraj Kumar's family watched the morning show with the fans. The fans have given rousing reception to the Shivaraj Kumar's 'Shiva'. MS Ramesh dialogues make the film more appealing.

According to the estimate, 'Shiva' first day gross collection is Rs.3 crores. Producers KP Shrikanth and Kantharaj are extremely happy with the first day report.
