The Kerala Private Hospital and Paramedical Workers Congress (KPHPWC) has appealed to the Chief Minister, Labour Minister and Health Minister to come forward to settle the labour dispute at Kothamangalam Mar Baselios Hospital.
The KPHPWC office-bearers termed the strike at the hospital as one which deserves humanitarian consideration and an example of moral fight.
“The attitude of the hospital management, that boycotted the District Collector’s meeting, is biased. There must be a shift in the thinking of the management which has shun the present state administration,” said association general secretary G Raju and vice-president Baby Cheembara in a press meet here on Thursday.
The association urged the elected representatives from the district to intervene and settle the issue.
The office-bearers also asked the hospital managements to implement the service rules as per the Supreme Court order.
