MANGALORE: Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on Sunday mocked Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda for wasting his time and energy by shuttling between RSS headquarters and houses of former CM Yeddyurappa and BJP state president Eshwarappa. He told mediapersons in Moodbidre, that the CM is lost in a maze of finding solutions to resentments between party leaders. He is spending most of his time in the RSS headquarters or in Yeddyurappa or Eshwarappa’s house, he jeered.Sadananda Gowda has done nothing for the state after becoming chief minister, he alleged. Reflecting on a string of dissident activities, he said that internal bickering within the BJP is never-ending. He accused the CM of cheating people of the state by not working for them. A majority of developmental work proposed in the budget were not taken up as the government failed to release funds, he claimed.“The CM also neglected farmers from his home town and is not forthcoming on the compensation package for arecanut farmers who suffered huge losses with plantations being ravaged by fruit rot disease. The pathetic roads in this district are further proof of his negligence,” he chided. As many as 10 ministers were forced to resign on grounds of corruption.BJP, Congress Looting the Country: GowdaMangalore: The BJP’s fragility was exposed when its senior leader L K Advani was sidelined for lauding Mohamamad Ali Jinnah, said former prime minister H D Deve Gowda h'zere on Sunday. At the party workers convention at Swarajya Maidan in Moodabidre, he said the BJP was not interested in making the country a secular one. “The party distanced itself from a leader who was once projected as a prime ministerial candidate. The BJP has never protected the rights of minorities,” Gowda stressed. The time to reject the BJP and Congress has come as both parties are looting the country for years. There will be no secular nation if these parties come to power, he said. Regarding Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid’s statement, he recollected that the move to provide four per cent reservation for minorities was accepted positively. “ However, Khurshid seeks nine per cent reservation, for which he is ready to be hanged,” he said.
