Top Indian cricketers, who have given some sensational performances in International tournaments, will be seen in the Duleep Trophy this year, after BCCI made it mandatory for all players. The board has also decided to hold the matches in a district stadium rather than big stadiums for the first time. According to reports, Rural Development Trust Stadium located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh is set to host the matches of this esteemed tournament. This is the first time such an event will take place in Anantapur. It will be held from September 5 to September 23, 2024, with a total of five matches. This marks the first-ever Duleep Trophy Tournament that is set to take place in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This time, the cricket board decided to change the playing system of the tournament. Instead of zonal teams, the players have been selected into four teams named A, B, C, and D. The teams will play against each other in a round-robin format. In this season, there will be no knockout games and the winner will be announced based on the points.

Team A: Shubman Gill (C), Mayank Agarwal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, KL Rahul, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Tanush Kotian, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, Vidwath Kaverappa, Kumar Kushagra, Shaswat Rawat.

Team B: Abhimanyu Easwaran (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, Musheer Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy*, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd Siraj, Yash Dayal, Mukesh Kumar, Rahul Chahar, R Sai Kishore, Mohit Awasthi, N Jagadeesan (WK).
