Dialysis centre at Manipal hospital

BANGALORE: The Manipal Cure and Care (MCC) Clinic, a unit of Manipal Hospitals  launched its first MCC Boutique Dialysis Centre at its Koramangala unit on Wednesday. Dr Sudarshan Ballal Chairman, Manipal Health Enterprises said, “Service enhancements ultimately benefit patients, offering the most congenial ambience and provides individual care. Keeping in mind the safety and comfort which are the primary concerns for patients, the new clinic incorporates a number of  features with personal cubicles for privacy, custom dialysis couch and individual  audiovisual entertainment system to make the dialysis procedure comfortable for the patients.”Rajen Padukone, CEO, Manipal Health  Enterprises said, “We would be setting up similar dialysis services in all our MCC Clinics across Bangalore. The opening up of a similar clinic in Nigeria is the first step towards extending this format overseas.”Meanwhile, the hospital announced its collaboration with a Nigerian firm to open similar MCC Clinics at Nigeria.
