New Delhi: There seems to no end to the troubles of Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal as he has been issued a notice by the Election Commission for violating the model code of conduct.
Kejriwal has been accused of appealing to Muslim voters on religious grounds. The EC notice comes after differences between him and Anna Hazare over the collection of funds and campaigning for Delhi Assembly elections.
The Election Commission had also issued notice to Congress's Vice President Rahul Gandhi and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi earlier for violating the code of conduct.
Kejriwal is contesting from New Delhi constituency against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and BJP's Vijendra Gupta. Delhi will go in polls on December 4 and results will be declared on December 8.
