Delhi Food Outlet Murder: Three Shooters Killed in Police Encounter in Haryana

The Delhi police on Friday killed three gangsters, including two shooters on Friday in a joint operation along with the Haryana Police. The three were allegedly behind last month’s murder in a west Delhi food joint.

“In a joint operation, three person identified as Ashish Kalu, Vicky Ridhana and Sunny Gujjar – gang members of absconding gangster Himanshu Bhau, were killed in a shootout in Rohtak by the Delhi Police Crime Branch and Haryana STF,” officials said.

The encounter took place in Sonipat’s Kharkhoda area, an officer said, adding that all of them were wanted by the police of Haryana and Delhi.

One person died in an incident of alleged targeted firing that took place at a Burger King outlet situated in New Delhi’s Rajouri Garden on June 19.

Aman Joon, 26, was shot dead by two gangsters while he was sitting with a woman inside a Burger King outlet in the west Delhi locality. Police said Joon suffered 38 gunshot wounds in the firing.

Fugitive Spain-based gangster Himanshu Bhau, who is a close aide of Bawana, took responsibility for the killing in a social media post, saying his gang had avenged the killing of Bawana’s cousin Shakti Singh in October 2020.

Joon is believed to have passed on information regarding Shakti Singh’s whereabouts to Pradhan.
