After all the hype about the arrest of LeT terrorist Ghulam Lone, it turned out to be much ado about nothing.

Jammu and Kashmir: After all the hype about the arrest of Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Ghulam Lone, it turned out to be much ado about nothing.

The statements made by Jammu Police and media briefing by Delhi Police Special Cell only dented the claim of millitary intelligence that Lone was the man behind the blast.

When the special cell of Delhi Police started interrogating Ghulam Mohiuddin Lone, the Jammu Police had already sent its report. According to them, Ghulam Lone was no prize catch, but only a small-time thief.

The special cell along with J&K police interrogated Lone at length and the only thing they found out was Lone's inconsistency.

The interrogation is still on and the Delhi Police is taking no chances this time. But they also don't want to go on record without any clinching evidence to back their claim. So investigations as of now stands where it started on the fateful day of the blast.

Thus, what started off as a major breakthrough in the Delhi blast case has eventually turned out to be a game of one-upmanship between the intelligence agencies and Jammu Police.

What's your reaction?
