COIMBATORE: A court here today rejected the police plea seeking the custody of 'lottery king' Santiago Martin for three days in connection with a complaint alleging he illegally transferred the ownership of a textile mill.Martin has been arrested on the complaint by one S A Narahari Shetty that he and his associates had transferred illegally the ownership of his Rs.125 crore Akshaya Mills after forging documents.Judicial Magistrate II Chellapandian rejected the police application saying there was no proper evidence and there was no necessity for police to interrogate him.Martin, who was brought from Vellore Prison, where he had been lodged since his arrest in a land grabbing case, was taken back to Vellore, police said.
