Cheating case against former MLA

HYDERABAD: A case has been registered against a former MLA for allegedly duping a hospital and getting reimbursement of medical bills fraudulently.
The case has been registered against former Congress MLA from Chintalapudi, Ganta Murali Krishna, following the directions of a court. According to police, a nephew of Murali Krishna was treated at NIMS in 2008. Murali Krishna who was a sitting MLA then, allegedly claimed that the person who underwent treatment at NIMS was his son and claimed reimbursement on his nephew's behalf.One G Rama Rao moved the court on the issue and the court recently directed the Punjagutta police to register a case and investigate.
