Centre going back on Telangana promise

HYDERABAD: BJP senior leader and former Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya has said that the UPA government is going back on its promise on Telangana and this was amply proved by AICC general secretary Gulam Nabi Azad’s statement on Friday.Dattatreya said the Congress high command has given enough indications  and now it was clear that the Centre is not in position to deliver T-state. Speaking to reporters at the state party office here on Saturday, he took strong objection to Azad’s statement and said if Telangana issue is related to several other issues then why did the Union home minister P Chidambaram made the statement on December 9.
