Case filed against Alex Joseph

KOCHI: The police on Monday registered the arrest of Alex C Joseph on the request of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) for possessing fake passports. According to Palarivattom sub-inspector Shiju S, he was arrested after the DRI insisted that a formal arrest must be registered in the case.  The DRI had found that Alex had been possessing several fake passports. He is in police custody in the luxury car import case.  He was arrested by the immigration staff at Hyderabad airport while travelling on a fake passport.
