Balagokulam State vice-president D Narayana Sarma has opined that the new generation should be given the opportunity to study about Lord Krishna. Inaugurating the formation of the reception committee for Sreekrishna Jayanthi Baladinam here on Friday, he said currently there was no place for Krishnagatha and Bhagavad Gita in the curriculum.
Lord Krishna’s personality was such that anyone can make him a model at any level of our lives, he said. No artist or poet is there in Kerala who has not expressed the influence of Lord Krishna in their life, he said.
District president of the organisation Mukkampalammoodu Radhakrishnan presided. V Harikumar, P Manoharan, G Santhosh Kumar, Satheesh Poojappura and V Manojkumar also spoke.
