In a shocking incident reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Guna, a wedding ceremony was disrupted by a swarm of bees, resulting in multiple injuries among the guests.

The chaotic incident occurred in Guna district, where the buzzing hive positioned on the hotel’s roof attacked unsuspecting attendees.

According to an NDTV report, eyewitnesses said the swarm descended upon the wedding ceremony and caused panic among the guests as they frantically tried to escape the aggressive bees.

The hive, which was located on the roof of the Kasturi Garden Hotel, and housed several bees, swiftly made their way to the garden where the wedding celebration was taking place. As a result, nearly a dozen people suffered injuries, with some sustaining severe wounds.

Swift action was taken by local authorities and medical teams promptly arrived at the spot, providing immediate first aid to the injured guests.

Those with more serious injuries were rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for further treatment and care, the publication reported.

The incident has raised questions regarding the hotel management’s responsibility to ensure the safety of its guests.

Authorities are now probing whether adequate precautions were in place to prevent such incidents. The focus is on ensuring that necessary measures are implemented to safeguard the well-being of individuals attending similar events in the future.

Last year, more than 80 people were injured after they were attacked by a swarm of bees while attending the final rites of a man in this Himachal Pradesh district. The incident took place in Mehrauli village under the Ringas police station area
