Burglary at cops house

BANGALORE: Unidentified miscreants burgled the house of a City Armed Reserve (CAR) Head Constable and decamped with 150 grams of gold ornaments worth about Rs 2.45 lakh. The incident was reported in the house of HC Devarajaiah located in ‘A’ block of the police quarters on Mysore Road in Cottonpet police station limits.According to the police, Devarajaiah along with his family members had gone to a relative’s house in Srirangapatna on Sunday. When they returned on Monday morning, they found the lock of the front door broken. They went inside to find the gold ornaments missing. Later, Devarajaiah filed a case with Cottonpet police.Further investigations are on.
