Indian boxer Shiva Thapa reached the round of 16 in the 56kg men's bantamweight category at the 17th Asian Games on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Indian received a walkover against Leonel Parada Helo of East Timor in his opening round at the Seonhak Gymnasium.
Surprisingly, Parada didn't turn up for the bout and hence Thapa advanced to the next level.
Thapa will now take on Nadir of Pakistan in the round of 16 bout on Friday.
